The exhibition brings together works created using analog collage techniques, as well as a vast collection of drawings and digital collages.

ana MESQuita is a Portuguese artist, born in Africa, with a background in Fashion Design from CITEX (1992), where she refined her skills under the guidance of masters such as Jaime Azinheira and Mário Bismark. She earned a postgraduate degree in Journalism from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa in 1998 and has written for Expresso, Elle, and DNA, in addition to directing the women's magazine LAmag by Lanidor. Since 2012, she has been fully dedicated to painting, exhibiting in Portugal and Paris. She engages in innovative projects like Not Disposable, which uses art to empower marginalized groups, and created the video art piece Journey Through Forgetting (2022). Her work is known for the delicacy of its linework, the mystery in its layered techniques, and exuberant color palettes, reflecting her belief in the transformative power of art.
